Because each presenter or group of presenters must place prereading materials on the web so that attendees can read them ahead of time, we want to offer some help for those who don't often create their own web pages or don't have places to put them.
  • The University of Florida's Networked Writing Environment pages offer help on HTML authoring for beginners.

  • This template can be used to create a simple web page. It can be edited with a text editor like Notepad or SimpleText. Directions are embedded in the template.

  • Anyone who can't use the template can send us a plain text (ASCII) version of their paper or other materials by email (please, no attachments) and we will put it in simple HTML format.

  • Those who don't have web space of their own can send us their materials and we'll post them on the NWE server. If you lack web space, please contact us to arrange transfer of files.

We encourage all presenters who need assistance with their Web pages to request help at least three weeks before the presentation time.
