NWE Help: Email: Remote
NWE Home :: Help :: Email :: Remote
You can remotely access many email functions with IMAP or POP-based email clients such as Eudora, Mozilla, Outlook Express, etc. You will need to know your user name, password, and the appropriate mail host names (in our case, mailhost.nwe.ufl.edu and the name of your ISP's SMTP host).
Or, you can forward your mail to an address you already read from home. This is probably the best solution since you won't have to change your home configuration at all to read NWE mail.
There are restrictions on the use of mailhost.nwe.ufl.edu to send mail remotely. See our email restrictions page for more information.
