NWE Help: File Manager: Delete
Warning: once you delete a file, it's gone forever. The system staff will not restore files you delete by mistake. So be careful!
To delete a file, first make sure that you want to delete the file. If you aren't sure, just leave it. The system staff monitors disk usage -- if we believe that you're using too much disk space downloading South Park mpegs, we'll let you know.
Select the file you want to delete by clicking on it with the left mouse button. Then choose "Put in Trash" from the Selected menu, or by right-clicking and selecting it from the pop-up menu. Warning: "Trash" works differently on this system than it does on Windows or MacOS. Once you put something in trash, it is gone.
