NWE Help: Graphics: XV: Start

Start the program up by clicking on the NWE menu, selecting "Graphics programs," and choosing "XV image viewer". After a short delay, a window will appear with the default image displayed in it, as shown here:

You can also start XV from a shell with the command:

     xv &

If you type:

     xv filename.gif &

XV will open and load the file (or files) you request.
