I can't log in. Help!

Here are a few suggestions:

Check to see if caps lock is on. MOO passwords are case sensitive.
Have you renamed your MOO character? If so, use the new name, not your NWE username.
Don't type <angle> <brackets> around the username or password.

Can I MOO from home?

Yes. You need a MOO client -- download one for free.

Are there rules for behavior in MOOville?

Yes. See our MOOtiquette page for specifics. The basic rule is: don't do anything you wouldn't do in real life.

I want to make a room for myself.

Great! You should be able to dig in your classroom space or you can request space elsewhere to make rooms. See our digging help for more info.

I don't like the name I've chosen for an object, should I recycle it and make a new one?

No. Just use the simple command @rename to rename your object with a new name. Use the syntax below, substituting your object's name for object and the new name where new name is.

@rename object to "New Name"

Note: If you're renaming an exit, you CANNOT use spaces in the new name.
