Most NWE print dialogs ask you to select a printer with the standard Unix selection method. You may need to change a setting or two the text fields of the Print dialogue box for the document to print in the room you are in. In most cases, if you don't specify a printer, the printout will appear in the room you print from.

Here's a summary of the way that works in our most commonly used programs. Please take a look at the help specific to printing for your application. Some are slightly different than what's indicated here. We're working on a hack for that, but it will take some time.

Note: Printing from the Exmh email client and the asWe HTML editor is temporarily out of order. We suggest pasting messages or HTML code into StarOffice to print from these programs.

Printing from StarOffice:

Choose the Print command from the File menu. Make sure the printer selected is appropriate. Press OK to print your document. For more information, see our Printing from StarOffice pages.

 

Printing from Mozilla:

Choose the Print command from the File menu. Press Print. For more information, see our Printing from Mozilla page.

 

Printing from Acrobat:

Choose the Print command from the File menu. Press OK. The document will print to the printer in the room where you are logged in. For more information, see our printing from Acrobat page.

 

Printing other files

To print MOO log files, use StarOffice.

To print images, use Mozilla.
