StarOffice 7 has a PDF Writer. With it, you can make PDFs in one click. Since a PDF can be read on nearly any computer on the planet with the free Acrobat reader, it's a nice format to use for documents.

Here are the details:

1. Open a document in StarOffice 7.
2. Click the PDF button at the top of the page. This will bring up an Export box.
3. Make sure you're in the correct directory.
4. Then name the file, making sure that the name has no spaces (see our file naming guidelines.)
5. After you hit export, you've made a PDF.
