NWE Help: Utilities
The Utilities menu contains small but useful programs like a desktop calculator and programs which can reset the defaults for commonly used NWE programs. Most of the programs in the Utilities menu won't be used in day-to-day computing of typical NWE students.
- Calculator:: A desktop calculator with trigonometric functions
- Man page viewer:: Xman, the Xwindows documentation ("man page") viewer
- Clock:: The clock tells you what time it is.
- Screen magnifier:: Xmag, for magnifying the display of your desktop
- Modules:: Modules which extend the Fvwm window manager
- Restart window manager:: Exit and restart the Fvwm window manager
- Reset defaults:: Use these programs to reset defaults for NWE programs
