The Fvwm window manager includes a number of modules which can be used as part of standard configuration. Most NWE students won't use these fvwm modules in day to day computing -- they are a bit difficult to configure, and the functionality of the NWE menu and task bar provide a quality interface.

• Identify:: Show technical information about a window
• Button-Bar:: The Fvwm button bar, which resembles the old NWE toolbar
• Pager:: Show a small representation of virtual desktops
• Task-Bar:: Show a task bar at the bottom of the screen (on by default)
• WinList:: Display a list of windows
• IconBox:: Display a box in which icons for windows are minimized
• IconMan:: Display a list of windows
• Banner:: Show the Fvwm logo
• ScrollBar:: Add a scrollbar to a window with this module
