NWE Help: Utilities: Reset Defaults: Mozilla
NWE Home :: Help :: Utilities :: Reset Defaults
You can reset the program defaults for the Mozilla Web browser with the Mozilla defaults utility. If the Mozilla Web browser seems to be working oddly, you should use this program to see if preferences and settings are the problem.
|
Note: This utility will remove bookmarks and Mozilla preferences. |
To use the program:
Make sure the Mozilla Web browser is not running. If it is, quit the program using the menus or by pressing Alt-Q.
Click on the NWE Menu, select Utilities, then select Reset defaults, then select Mozilla defaults. Alternately, you can type ResetMozillaDefaults from a local xterm shell.
You should then be able to see if the program works better. If the problem persists, contact the NWE help staff.
(This program copies the system defaults to the .mozilla directory in your home directory.)
