Here are some examples of citation practices which follow the guidelines in the NWE account policies. These examples are modeled on the MLA citation guidelines as expressed in The Everyday Writer, Second Edition.

These guidelines are models only. Be sure to follow any particular rules established by your instructor.

• Example summary:: Summary of the examples we provide, including pros and cons
• Closest:: Including the citation close to the work
• Bottom:: Including the citation at the bottom of the page
• Separate:: Using a separate citation page
• Pop-up:: Using a pop-up window for citation
