You can print out a copy of any material that you view with Mozilla Firefox (whether it's the browser or the email client) by selecting the Print button from the row across the top of the window. Alternately, choose "Print" from the File menu. (If you are printing a frame-based document, click on the frame you want to print first.)

In the print dialogue box, click on Print. The box below will come up. Click on Properties to bring up another dialog box.

As long as the print command reads "lpr" as in the box below, the printout will be sent to the printer in the room from which you are printing.

If you are printing from Rolfs 501 or 410 or want your printout to appear in another room, change the command to read: lpr -P followed by the room number to which you are printing (rol115, for example). This is the standard UNIX printer selection command -- we've got examples of those close by.

If you print without typing in a printer, your printout will not be available to you. You must select a room or you won't be able to get your printout!
